We accept obsolete computer equipment for electronic recycling. Most electronic equipment can be brought to our parent company, "Colt Recycling", for a nominal charge. Computer recycling prices are as follows:

Portable Televisions: $0.42 per pound
Console Televisions, Projection or loose CRT tubes: $0.50 per pound
Photocopiers/Stand Alone Printers (greater than 50 lbs): $25.00 per unit

Air conditioners and refrigerators:
Air conditioners: $10.95 per unit
Dehumidifiers: $10.95 per unit
Refrigerators: $10.95 per unit

Fluorescent Bulb and Ballast Recycling:
All Staight Fluorescents - $0.11 per foot
Coated Lamps - $1.25 per lamp
Circle, U-shaped and compact - $0.55 per lamp
High Intensity Discharge (HID) - $1.25 per lamp
Incandescent/Halogen - $0.80 per lamp
Neon Lamps - $6.00 per lamp
PCB Fluorescent Light Ballasts - $0.90 per pound
Non-PCB Fluorescent Light Ballasts - $0.60 per pound
PCB & Non-PCB HID Ballasts - $2.50 per pound
Bulbs must be securely packaged in boxes to prevent breakage

Prepaid bulb containers are also available. Box prices include recycling charge, box and shipping charges to the warehouse facility once the boxes are full. Do not ship a box until it is completely full unless there is sufficient styrofoam or filler to minimize breakage. Packaging and shipping instructions are located on the box. All boxes are prepay only and do not include transportation to your facility

Lithium Batteries: $9.95 per pound
Magnesium Batteries: $0.75 per pound
Mercury Batteries: $5.00 per pound
Silver Oxide Batteries: $7.25 per pound

Data Destruction Services:

Physical destruction - $9.95 per hard drive
Certificate of Destruction (per work order) - $3.00
Drive is rendered inoperable by shredding into 1 1/4 inch strips.
Paper/Media destroyed via incineration - $0.20 per pound


Transportation/Pickup Rates:
Minimum charge for pick-up is $75.00. Rates vary based on distance, amount of equipment and packaging and/or on site labor services needed. For pickup, please call our parent company, Colt Recycling at (518) 377-9900.
